A managed solution for Microsoft Dataverse. Headed to Microsoft AppSource.
Committee decisions that lock when the verdict is recorded.
Governance that runs inside your Microsoft tenant. Committees make decisions and the database locks each one when the verdict is recorded. The audit trail builds as work happens.
Early adopters install it directly today, as a managed solution in your own Dataverse environment. The early adopter page says how to get the current terms.
What SteadyState Governance does
It runs inside your Microsoft 365 environment. Participants vote and read briefings in a Microsoft model-driven app.
Project managers, program managers and administrative staff run it day to day.
- Lock on verdict
- After the verdict the record is read-only. The form and the Web API both refuse the edit.

- Tally of record
- The split tally is stamped on the locked record with the voting policy and the verdict date.
- Carried 6–3 · 2 abstentions · 1 recusal · 1 absent · 13 eligible (majority of votes cast)Verdict date 13 Apr 2026 14:30
- Amendment supersedes
- A change is a new decision that goes through the same vote. It marks the original superseded, and both link to each other.
- SupersededDEC-2026-009Amended by DEC-2026-014 on 13 Apr 2026
- Minutes adopted

- See historical decisions and context without searching across emails or folders

Staff who run it
Staff without engineers run it: committees, members and agendas are set up from forms.
- Define committees, charters, and membership
- Assign voting members and observers
- Schedule meetings and build agendas
- Track open decisions, overdue actions, and upcoming reviews
- Export decision records and the audit trail with standard Dataverse tooling

Microsoft-first architecture
SteadyState Governance is built specifically for organizations standardized on Microsoft.
- Built on Power Platform
- A managed solution on Dataverse. Optional Teams notifications can be turned on later. Records are processed only inside your Microsoft tenant.
- Identity-aligned permissions
- Your Entra ID and Dataverse security roles control access.
- Your backup and retention
- Your existing Dataverse backup and retention policies apply, unchanged.
- Exports
- Exportable decision records and audit trail via standard Dataverse tooling.
- Security review
- One tenant and one identity model for the reviewer to assess.
- Configuration
- Committees, voting policies and categories are settings.
Headed to Microsoft AppSource
SteadyState Governance is headed to Microsoft AppSource. Early adopters install the managed solution directly today. Once it is listed, distribution through Microsoft AppSource carries the trust and operational model organizations already use.
For many organizations, this shortens time-to-approval compared to standalone SaaS governance tools.
Compliance, audit readiness and setup
Compliance and audit readiness
Audit evidence is the records themselves: the locked decision, its tally, the amendment chain and the Dataverse audit log.
The evidence for an audit accumulates as governance happens.
Setup and implementation
Install the managed solution and assign the SteadyState admin role. The getting-started checklist on Home then walks through:
- Create your first committee
- Add committee members
- Draft your first decision
Optional Teams notifications can be turned on later. Setup is the managed solution plus one security role, imported by your Power Platform admin.
