About SteadyState
We built it after committee work in healthcare and government.
Committees still have to show what they decided, who could vote, and what changed afterwards.
Some of those organizations ran dozens of committees with thousands of stakeholders. Governance breaks down when it adds process without adding clarity or becomes too difficult to track.
A vote taken by email in March gets questioned in June, and nobody can show who was eligible.
Our philosophy is simple: add as little process as the record needs.
Governance should move the work forward.
We design systems that scale across hundreds of stakeholders without requiring engineers to run them. PMs and administrative staff own the process. The system keeps the decision record and its audit trail as they work.
Each decision carries its tally and its amendments. An audit reads the record, and the staff get back to the work.
